The Australian National University Medical School Society (ANUMSS) is the peak representative body for medical student at ANU. The motto of the ANUMSS is to support, represent and entertain ANU medical students. It achieves this through the hard work and dedication of elected ANU medical students.
The ANUMSS membership provides a diverse range of services for the medical student body. For example, the ANUMSS consistent provides academic advocacy for students. We sit on the on medical school curriculum committee and work towards reshaping the medical curriculum. The ANUMSS provides wellbeing support for students through a harmonization of psychological, athletic and academic opportunities. Furthermore, we organize an array of social activities throughout the semester including Orientation Week, MedSoc Mixer, Wellbeing Retreat and the Winter Formal.
